Sludge Treatment by means of Geotube
Limiting the volume of sludge translates into large savings in its burial costs.
Admir Environment Implements Dewatering Technologies and Treats Sludge that Derived from Production Processes such as:
- Sludges from chemical manufacturing processes and chemical plants
- Oil sludge from manufacturing facilities and refining of petroleum and its products
- Sludge from manufacturing processes in the food industry
- Sludge from manufacturing processes that contain metals and residual toxins
- Sludge from the paper industry
- Fly ash
Sludge Treatment by Geotubes
Efficient dewatering using dewatering technology via Geotube receptacles - with this method, it is possible to attain an especially high percentage of solids (50%-80%) in a short period of time, while pumping and dewatering large quantities of sludge. Geotube technology includes polymer blending while pumping, which causes flocculation of the sludge and enables the separation of solids during the filtration process through the sleeves.
Upon completion of the pumping, when the Geotube is filled with solids, the consolidation process begins, during which the sludge's own weight pushes out the filtrate liquids, leaving the solids trapped inside the Geotube.
Geotube M.D.S. - Mobile Dewatering System
In addition to the standard Geotubes which are placed in a sealed spill containment pallet, it is possible to pump the sludge into a Geotube placed inside a roll-off container so that, when the dewatering is completed, the dry material is ready to be transported with no need to remove it from the bag. The M.D.S. is designed primarily for locations where the sewage quantities are relatively small or particularly toxic.
